TANDOORI CHICKEN RECIPE


Tandoori chicken is a delicious side dish with any thing like rotti ,porotta,nan ,biriyani.Its an indian  dish which spread allover the world as a favourite food item.Mostly we are using drumstick with thighs for the preparation but  chest pieces also can be used.Tandoor is clay oven which we use for preparing tandoori chicken which gives the traditional taste to the dish.It can be prepared using grill or pan  also.

INGREDIENTS WE USED ARE
  1. chicken:1 kg
  2. curd:1/4 L
  3. kashmiri chilly powder: 1 tbs
  4. garam masala: 1/2 tsp 
  5. tandoori masala : 1 tbs
  6. lemon:1
  7. ginger garlic paste :15 g(1 tsp each)
  8. salt :according to our consistency
  9. oil: as required
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Mix the ingredients 2 to 8 well.
  • Spread it over the chicken thoroughly to reach every point.
  • Keep it aside for 3-4 hours marination which helps the chicken to absorb the masala mixture well.
  • keeping marinated chicken in refrigerator for sometimes gives better result.
  • using a tandoor ,fry it .We can also use a pan  or barbique grill instead of tandoor.
Delicious tandoori chicken is ready.Try it at home and enjoy cooking.
