Homemade Mango Ice-cream

Ice-creams are our all time favorite , mostly our kids, especially in this hot summer. Nowadays we have lots of ice-cream recipes, by which we can prepare ice-cream from home easily.   1. Milk: 500 ml
  2. Whipping cream or heavy cream: 1 cup
  3. Corn flour: 4 tbs
  4. Condensed milk: 1/2 tin
  5. Sugar: 2-3 tbs(optional)
  6. Mango Puree/ pulp: 1 cup
  • Boil milk(reserve 1/2 cup to mix cornflour).
  • When it starts boiling , add condensed milk and sugar(optional, if mango Puree is not sweety) , stir well to combine.
  • Mix cornflour with little milk and pour to boiling milk.
  • Stir cook continuously till it thickens.
  • Turn off the flame and allow it to cool completely.
  • In another bowl, beat whipping cream or heavy cream till fluffy.
  • Now add half of cornflour-milk mix, again beat to get combined.
  • Add in remaining mix , beat again to combine everything together.
  • Puree the mangoes without adding water or use ready-made mango pulp 1 cup.
  • Add this Puree to the above mix, again beat to get combined.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours, take out from freezer, beat once more to avoid icy texture.
  • Cover the container air-tight and refrigerate overnight or atleast 6-8 hours.
Yummy Mango Ice-cream is ready, Scoop it, serve and enjoy eating.
