Kalakand is one of the healthy sweet preparation with paneer or cottage cheese. Paneer , a nutritive ingredient ,is not much tasty to eat alone. But dishes with paneer are super delicious . Try this simple , quick and healthy Kalakand for festivals, special occasions especially for our kids. Surely all will love.

  1. Paneer: 500 g
  2. Condensed milk: 1 tin
  3. Cardamom. Powder: 1 tsp
  4. Milk powder: 3 tbs
  5. Ghee or butter: little for greasing
  • Take a thick bottomed pan,Crumble paneer with your hands. You can easily done when it is in room temperature.
  • Add in condensed milk and milk powder, stir well to combine.
  • Heat it in medium flame by stirring frequently till it thickens and leaves  the sides without sticking.
  • Now add in 3/4 tsp of cardamom powder, mix in well.
  • Turn off the flame.
  • Grease a tray with little ghee or butter, transfer the above kalakand mix to it.
  • Sprinkle remaining cardamom powder and little condensed milk on top.
  • Allow it cool .
Healthy and yummy Kalakand is ready, cut and serve.
