Vermicelli Cashew Burfi

Vermicelli Cashew Burfi is healthy and yummy Burfi or peda prepared easily with few common ingredients. Try this recipe for your lovely kids that they will surely loves. It's also yummier and healthier for all sweet lovers even for ifthar. You can also make use of rotten milk with this recipe instead of milk and vinegar.

  1. Milk: 1 cup
  2. Vinegar: 1 this
  3. Roasted Vermicelli: 3 TBS
  4. Cashew: 10-15
  5. Condensed milk: 4 TBS
  6. Sugar: 1 TBS
  7. Cardamom powder: a pinch
  8. Milk powder: 1 tbs
  9. Ghee or butter: 1 TBS

  • Take a thick bottomed pan and boil milk along with vinegar. Or use rotten milk if you have instead.
  • Boil till it reduces to 2/3rd.
  • Meanwhile powder 7-8 Cashew.
  • Now add in condensed milk, sugar, and powdered Cashew to this and stir cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add in roasted Vermicelli, milk powder and a pinch of cardamom powder.
  • Cook by stirring occasionally till it thickens and comes out clear from sides( dries up water content).
  • Now add in ghee or butter and combine well and cook till it comes out clear from every side.
  • Remove from flame and allow it to cool a little.
  • Cut remaining Cashew into small pieces and fold half of it to the prepared Burfi mix.
  • Convert it to your own shapes while it's warm and roll in remaining Cashew pieces
