Shawarma Puri

Shawarma Puri / Poori is a delicious Snack loved by Children's and Adults which is easy to prepare.

Shawarma Puri

1: Puri Patties - 25

2: Mayonnaise - 1/2 cup

3: Cabbage - 1/2 cup

4: Cucumber - 1/2 cup (without seed)

5: Onion - 1

6:Chicken - 3/4 cup (small pieces)

7: Chilly Powder - 1 tsp

8: Garam Masala Powder - 1/4 tsp

9: Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp

10: Pepper Powder - 1/2 tsp

11: Coriander Leaves - 2-3 tbs

11: Salt as needed.

12: Oil - for frying

Shawarma Poori


Cut the chicken into small cubes, marinate it with chilly powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and salt. Keep aside for 10-15 minutes. Now heat a pan with little oil and fry the chicken pieces.

Heat a kadai with oil. Fry the patties to get the puri. Fry them in medium flame to get perfect puris. Keep the puris ready aside.

Puri Poori Patties

Now cut the vegetables into tiny pieces. Mix them all in a bowl. You can add more vegetables like carrot, capsicum of your taste. Cut the coriander leaves into small piece and add into it. Add in pepper powder, salt and mix well.

Take the puris one by one make a hole in the middle by pressing puri with your finger, fill it with vegetable mix, next with few pieces of fried chicken cubes, then with some mayonnaise. You can also garnish with chopped onion and coriander leaves. Do the filling only just before serving

After filling, serve as early as possible, don't keep it aside.

Yummy and crispy shawarma puri is ready. Serve fresh.
